Cloud Accountancy

Few technologies have revolutionised an industry in the way that accountancy software and online accounting have changed the way we manage small business accounts. Alexander Associates embraces new technology and developing it into a focal point of our accountancy service.

In addition, in April 2019, the HMRC have ruled that VAT returns must be delivered electronically as part of their “Making Tax Digital” initiative. All businesses must then use software and we recommend our clients use Xero, Quickbooks or Sage (depending on the size and complexity of your business) but we’re comfortable in incorporating any other package if required.

Cloud accounting is similar to traditional accounting methods only it is hosted on remote services. The user’s desktop does not need to store the information, but the information will be able to be accessed on any device with an internet connection which can be very useful.

It is easy to get real time reporting, and it can aid visibility throughout a company thus making it easier to control the accounts. Cloud accounting may be the way forward for your company.
